Siberian Husky Puppy HATES his crate
This is my Siberian Husky Storm at 8 weeks. This video was taken the day after I brought him home. He absolutely HATED his crate the first few weeks, but he is golden now. Lots of sleepless nights when I first got him though!

I’m not been funny, he looks a lovely little husky and I am hoping to get one soon after I have done my research into them but I can imagine he hates it due to been he can hardly move! If he had a large cage so he could excersice and move a little bit more freely I’m guessing he would have a smashing time in his cage!:)
mine is doing the same thing. thank god Im not alone he really stresses himself out over it
I don’t think “hate” is a strong enough word for this babe. Lol oh I would have gone nuts…but….it is all part of crate training and If they are gonna learn, they might as well learn right. Its better than having them get bored and remodel your house. Hah.

I watch this video again and again, Husky dog is probably the most beautiful and dog-alike dog, they look like wolves, it pretty cool!! Real friends

@jilliebeans Yeah its funny to look back on this video 10 months later. He goes and lays in his crate (much bigger) all the time, even when i’m home. As long as you make it cozy for them, they’ll start to like it. It’s really his own place, not his punishment.
VERY BEAUTIFUL DOG!! You should put some water inside. Being as humane as possible is humans priority.
Lol it’s hilarious watching them throwing a tantrum when you first bring them home. I wish I could’ve filmed my baby jindo at 8 weeks. He went pyscho on the play pen.
He falls right asleep now though at 5 months.
Crate them when they’re young to get them used to it. A lot of owners tell me crating isn’t for their puppy and they give up too soon without realizing that every puppy goes through the same whining and crying process. It’s a life saver and a great training tool
lol when igot my husky i blocked off my kitchen he had a pretty good space bt he still hated it. i just let him run around he tries getting on the bed to sleep with me bt at that time he was to small to jump up the bed. nice husky keep us updated

I AGREE!! using CRATES has been a life(and HOUSE) saver for me!! SO WORTH IT! Mine yap for half hr if I ignore them and just let em be at night. NOw comes daytime training as I NEED A LIFE TOO. a few times in crates during COLD days won’t hurt them. Plz see my pups in their crate vid.
I disagree, this crate was plenty big enough for him at that age. He now is in a much larger crate now that he has grown up.
For one thing, this crate should be MUCH bigger so the puppy doesn’t feel trapped.

I got my own husky he is only 5 months old, and i used to let him alone at home, if u teach to dog what he can do and not to do, there won’t be that kind of problems. And second thing that husky don’t like to be alone! Anyway im against that u buy so fantastic dog and put in crate!
